Breanna (she/her)—sometimes known onstage as Cheyenne—is a pole instructor, heels choreographer, and burlesque performer based in Alaska. With over 13 years in the pole industry and 8 years as a stage performer, she brings a powerful blend of sensuality and unapologetic authenticity to everything she does.

She’s passionate about creating inclusive spaces where dancers of all sizes, especially midsize and plus-size bodies, feel free to take up space, explore their sensuality, and feel celebrated.
Her movement style centers around connection, presence, and impact—with a love for dramatic floorwork and her signature drop split from the top of the pole that never fails to wake the crowd up.
Beyond the studio, Breanna is a boundary-setting, self-love queen with a fierce soft side. She’s a proud advocate for sex work positivity and decriminalization, a devoted animal lover with a background in zoology and wildlife biology, and a vibrant member of Alaska’s pole and burlesque community. She shares her life with her partner, two dogs, a parrot, two tarantulas, and a cat—and she’s an astrology girlie. She has since performed on many stages including competing in professional level competitions all over the country. She always had a passion for the anatomy and physics of pole- the how, the why. Eventually she found her passion in teaching pole classes and has been sharing her passion for about 6 years now. Her favorite part of teaching is helping students find their power, find their strength, their playfulness- guiding them to explore new pathways with confidence and curiosity.

Instructor Bio:AlisaMarie Selvaggio is the founder and owner of Burn and Bloom, creator, teacher, space-holder, rebel, and your biggest hype woman.
She built Burn & Bloom in 2018 with one mission: to create the space she needed but couldn’t find.
She is a certified yoga teacher, somatic movement guide, breath coach, doula, and bodyworker with a deep love for messy healing, honest expression, and the wild feminine. She's spent over a decade supporting transformation—on the mat, in the birth room, and in the quiet in-between moments where we truly meet ourselves. Her work is not about perfection or performance. It’s about presence. It’s about feeling your body—your real, beautiful, powerful, aching, evolving body—and trusting it.
"I believe in the power of sweat, stillness, sensation, and sisterhood.
I believe movement is medicine, your breath is a portal, and you don’t need to fix yourself—you just need to remember who the hell you are.
I am all about living in, moving with & celebrating the duality." -
In this workshop, you'll build and perform your own routine in 75 minutes! Come prepared with a song in mind, your phone, headphones and a notebook. The format will be loose and largely self guided, with Nix moving around the room to help massage a flow and think of entries and exits within your routine. We'll do a quick warm-up then work through connecting shapes and moves to help you build a combo for 1-2 minutes of music, ending with a performance of your piece. Limit to 12 people, open to Pole 1 and above.
Instructor Bio:
Nix first started poling in 2019 right here at Cathedral! After years of competitive sports, including rock climbing, volleyball, and Ironman triathlons, she wanted to pursue pole as a challenging combination of climbing and dance. Nix's style is always developing, but focuses on strength-based tricks and flow. In 2022, Nix competed in the Championship category at PSO Seattle, and is excited to grow her pole portfolio at the studio, in competitions, and in future pole certifications. Nix's philosophy is that exercise and body movement can be challenging and fun at the same time. Her classes focus on growing skills and strength in a safe and expressive class, welcome to all body types and experiences.

You must have an aerial invert as well as an outside leg hang to attend this class.Venus:
Born and raised in New Orleans, Venus discovered pole through an unlikely path: fighting. Her fighting trainer said, "Dancers make the best fighters," so Venus tried the only kind of dance she was interested in - pole dancing. Her trainer said, "That's not the kind of dance I meant," but it was too late. Venus loved the ambience of the pole studio and was in awe of the dancers' skills and grace.
In 2020, her fighting gym closed permanently due to Covid and Venus made her new home the pole studio (shout out NolaPole).
She attended Bella Blue's classes every week and was eventually taken under her wing. Bella mentored Venus, who acted as Bella's avatar while Bella healed an injury. Eventually, Venus began instructing pole classes and dancing in clubs to support herself through school.
Today, Venus works in psychiatry and crisis stabilization, advocating for vulnerable individuals while supporting them in maintaining sobriety and helping them navigate the complexities of the American healthcare system.
She spends her leisure time tending to her orchids, playing RDR2, and delving into numerous hobbies - most of which revolve around pole.
As an instructor, Venus loves stoking others' fire for pole and believes there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing others master what once felt impossible
Maxine:
Maxine's initial draw to pole, was completely fashion driven. What originally started as an excuse to wear cute outfits, has now became a full blown passion.
In true Leo style, Maxine loves the drama and artistic expression that can be found in heelwork. She lives for slow, gooey dance that look effortless and floaty while incorporating interesting edgework,
She has completed a Level 1 and 2 Edgework Mentorship with Tati Blue, Liquid Legs Mentorship with Indi and Dark Magic Mentorship with Wes Marx. She is CRNP Certified in Showgirl Pole and has attended master classes with Sedusa Swan, Doris Arnold, and Carmine Black.
Maxine's goal is to empower her students while encouraging deep exploration into embodied movement.
When Maxine is not dancing, she's an avid reader of 100 plus books a year, plays the harp, enjoys camping, and loves to snuggle her two Sphynx cats, rescue dog and MaltiPoo -
